Sukta 9.83
अरूरुचदुषसः पृश्निरग्रिय उक्षा बिभर्ति भुवनानि वाजयुः । मायाविनो ममिरे अस्य मायया नृचक्षसः पितरो गर्भमा दधुः ॥
arū́rucad uṣásaḥ pṛ́śnir agriyá ukṣā́ bibharti bhúvanāni vāja-yúḥ | māyāvíno mamire asya māyáyā nṛ-cákṣasaḥ pitáro gárbham ā́ dadhúḥ ||
उषा के समय चितकबरा (पृश्नि) तेज से चमक उठता है, अग्रभाग में प्रथम; वाज की कामना करने वाला वह वृषभ भुवनों को धारण करता है। उसकी माया-शक्ति से नृचक्षस्—द्रष्टा-ऋषि—उसका मापन करते हैं; मानव-दृष्टि वाले पितर गर्भ को भीतर स्थापित करते हैं।
