Transliteration

sahā́vā pṛtsú taraṇír nā́rvā vyānaśī́ rodasī́ mehanā́vān | bhágo ná kāré havyo matīnā́m pitā́iva cā́ruḥ suhávo vayaḥdhā́ḥ ||

Translation

Stark im Zusammenstoß, in den Kämpfen ein Hinüberführer wie ein schnelles Ross; er weitet beide Welten und, ein mächtiger Ausgießer, ergießt die fruchtbaren Wasser. Wie Bhaga im Schenken ist er von unseren inspirierten Gedanken zu rufen; wie ein Vater ist er schön, leicht anzurufen, ein Spender von Lebenskraft.
