स तु श्रुधीन्द्र नूतनस्य ब्रह्मण्यतो वीर कारुधायः । त्वं ह्यापिः प्रदिवि पितॄणां शश्वद्बभूथ सुहव एष्टौ ॥
Transliteration
sa tu śrudhīndra nūtanasya brahmaṇyato vīra kāru-dhāyaḥ | tvaṃ hy āpiḥ pra-divi pitṝṇāṃ śaśvad babhūtha su-hava eṣṭau ||
Translation
因此请听吧，因陀罗啊——这位求梵（brahman）者的新言；勇士啊，扶持诗人之业者。因为你确是祖灵在前天（pradiv）中的至亲；在祈求之际，你恒常成为易于呼唤者。
