Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
แท้จริงพวกเรา—แม้ไร้ที่พึ่งอื่น—ยึดท่านผู้เปี่ยมด้วยสายสัมพันธ์อันแท้เป็นญาติสนิท; โอ้ อินทรา เหล่าวิปรา(ฤๅษี-กวี)ทั้งหลายเกาะเกี่ยวท่าน. โอ้ โคอุสภะผู้ทรงพลัง จงมาพร้อมด้วยที่ประทับ(ธามานิ)และฤทธิ์เดชทั้งปวง เพื่อการดื่มโสมะ; จงเข้าสู่เครื่องบูชาและการก้าวขึ้นของเราด้วยทั้งสิ้นแห่งตน.
