Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
Hamare paas koi aur sahare nahi hain, lekin hum tumhe pakde huye hain. Tum hi hamare asli saathi ho. Hey Indra, hum rishi log tumhare saath hain. Tum apni saari taakat lekar aao aur Som ras piyo, hamare saath jud jao.
