Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
আমরা, অন্য আশ্রয়হীন হয়েও, সত্য বন্ধনে পূর্ণ তোমাকেই আপন বন্ধুরূপে ধারণ করি; হে ইন্দ্র, আমরা বিপ্রগণ তোমারই সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকি। হে বলবান বৃষভ, তোমার সকল ধাম ও শক্তিসহ এখানে এসো—সকলসহ—সোমপানের জন্য; আমাদের যজ্ঞ-আহ্বানে সম্পূর্ণভাবে প্রবেশ করো।
