तन्नस्तुरीपमध पोषयित्नु देव त्वष्टर्वि रराणः स्यस्व । यतो वीरः कर्मण्यः सुदक्षो युक्तग्रावा जायते देवकामः ॥
tán nas turī́pam ádha poṣayitnú deva tváṣṭar ví rarāṇáḥ syasva | yáto vīráḥ karmaṇyàḥ su-dákṣo yuktá-grāvā jā́yate deva-kā́maḥ ||
ขอความเพิ่มพูนอันเร่งรุดนั้น โอ้เทพผู้เกื้อกูล ทวาษฏฤ (Tvaṣṭṛ) จงเป็นเพื่อพวกเรา—จงทอประกายออกมาในทานอันเปรมปรีดิ์ของท่าน. จากท่านย่อมบังเกิดวีรบุรุษผู้เหมาะแก่กิจการทั้งปวง ผู้ชำนาญพร้อมสรรพ กุมกำลังครบถ้วน มีศิลาบีบคั้น (grāvan) ผูกเทียมไว้ และใฝ่หาทวยเทพ.
