Agni Vaiśvānara

వసిష్ఠుని ఈ సంక్షిప్త త్రిచరణ స్తోత్రం, వైశ్వానర రూపంలో ఉన్న అగ్నిని సమస్తాన్ని శుద్ధిచేసే, లోకమంతా వ్యాపించే అగ్నిగా ఆహ్వానిస్తుంది; శత్రుత్వ శక్తులను నాశనం చేసి అడ్డంకులను తొలగించేవాడిగా స్తుతిస్తుంది. అగ్నిజననం రెండు లోకాలను నింపి, దేవతలను అణచివేత నుండి విముక్తం చేసే విశ్వవ్యాప్త సంఘటనగా ప్రశంసించబడుతుంది. చివరికి, బ్రహ్మన్ (పవిత్ర వాక్కు/ఆకాంక్ష) కోసం “మార్గం”ను అగ్ని వెల్లడించుగాక, దివ్య శక్తులు ఆరాధకులను దీర్ఘకాల క్షేమంతో రక్షించుగాక అని ప్రార్థనతో హిమ్నం ముగుస్తుంది.

प्राग्नये विश्वशुचे धियंधेऽसुरघ्ने मन्म धीतिं भरध्वम् । भरे हविर्न बर्हिषि प्रीणानो वैश्वानराय यतये मतीनाम् ॥
అగ్ని—విశ్వశుచి, శత్రుఘ్న—అతనికై ధియను ముందుకు తెచ్చండి; ప్రేరిత వాక్కును, ధ్యానబుద్ధిని ధరించండి. హవిస్ వలె బర్హిషి (యజ్ఞాసనంలో) తృప్తి పొందినవాడై ప్రసన్నుడై, మతుల మార్గదర్శి వైశ్వానరునికై అతడు యత్నిస్తాడు.

त्वमग्ने शोचिषा शोशुचान आ रोदसी अपृणा जायमानः । त्वं देवाँ अभिशस्तेरमुञ्चो वैश्वानर जातवेदो महित्वा ॥
అగ్నీ, నీ జ్వాలచే దహించుచు ప్రకాశిస్తూ, జన్మించిన వెంటనే నీవు రెండు లోకాలను నింపుతావు. శత్రు-పీడన నుండి దేవులను విముక్తి చేస్తావు; వైశ్వానరా, జాతవేదా—నీ మహిమచేత.

जातो यदग्ने भुवना व्यख्यः पशून्न गोपा इर्यः परिज्मा । वैश्वानर ब्रह्मणे विन्द गातुं यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
