अयं संक्षिप्तोऽथर्वणीयो मन्त्रः नक्षत्रराजं शाकधूमं तथा कालस्य नियामकशक्ती—अहोरात्रे सूर्यचन्द्रौ च—प्रार्थयते यत् वर्तमानं क्षणं “भद्राहम्” इति शुभं सिद्धिदं दिवसत्वेन परिवर्तयन्तु। एषः कर्म (विशेषतः राजकीय-सार्वजनिकं प्रवर्तनम्) ऋतस्य विश्वव्यवस्थायाः सह विधिना समन्वय्य, अशुभकाललक्षणानि शमयति, तथा समग्रेऽहोरात्रचक्रे स्थिरं सौभाग्यं निरन्तरं च जयलाभं स्थापयति।
