Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
Pois nós, sem outros amparos, a ti nos prendemos como àquele que é pleno de vínculos verdadeiros; ó Indra, nós, videntes, a ti nos apegamos. Ó Touro de força, vem com todas as tuas moradas e potências, para o beber do Soma; entra com todo o teu ser na nossa oferenda e na nossa ascensão.
