Quando os Nakṣatras fizeram o rei — (até mesmo) Śakadhūma — Bhadrāham lhe concedeu este reino: «Assim seja este reino».

भ॒द्रा॒हं नो॑ म॒ध्यंदि॑ने भद्रा॒हं सा॒यम॑स्तु नः । भ॒द्रा॒हं नो॒ अह्नां॑ प्रा॒ता रात्री॑ भद्रा॒हम॑स्तु नः

Bhadrāham para nós ao meio-dia; Bhadrāham seja nosso ao entardecer. Bhadrāham para nós ao longo dos dias — de manhã, de noite — Bhadrāham seja para nós.

अ॒हो॒रा॒त्राभ्यां॒ नक्ष॑त्रेभ्यः सूर्याचन्द्र॒मसा॑भ्याम्। भ॒द्रा॒हम॒स्मभ्यं॑ राज॒न्छक॑धूम॒ त्वं कृ॑धि

Pelo Dia e pela Noite, pelos Nakṣatras, pelo Sol e pela Lua: faz para nós um dia de bom agouro, ó Rei, ó Śakadhūma.

यो नो॑ भद्रा॒हमक॑रः सा॒यं नक्त॒मथो॒ दिवा॑ । तस्मै॑ ते नक्षत्रराज॒ शक॑धूम॒ सदा॒ नमः॑

Tu que nos fizeste um dia de bom presságio, ao entardecer, à noite e também de dia — a ti, ó Rei das Nakṣatras, ó Śakadhūma, homenagem para sempre.
