स इधान उषसो राम्या अनु स्वर्ण दीदेदरुषेण भानुना । होत्राभिरग्निर्मनुषः स्वध्वरो राजा विशामतिथिश्चारुरायवे ॥
sá idhāná uṣásaḥ rā́myāḥ ánu svàrṇá dī́ded aruṣéṇa bhānúnā | hótrābhir agnír mánuṣaḥ sv-adhvaró rājā́ viśā́m átithiś cā́rur ā́yave ||
Rozpalony, świeci podążając za pięknymi Jutrzenniami, jak światło słońca, swoim rudo-złotym promieniem. Przez kapłańskie moce wezwania, Agni staje się dla człowieka ofiarą prowadzącą ku prawu; król ludów, jest mile widzianym gościem, piękny dla szukającego pełni.
