Sukta 2.2
ये स्तोतृभ्यो गोअग्रामश्वपेशसमग्ने रातिमुपसृजन्ति सूरयः । अस्माञ्च ताँश्च प्र हि नेषि वस्य आ बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
yé stotṛ́bhyo gó-agrām áśva-peśasam agne rātím upasṛjánti sū́rayaḥ | asmā́ṃś ca tā́ṃś ca prá hí néṣi vásyaḥ ā́ bṛhád vadema vidáthē su-vī́rāḥ ||
Ci oświeceni dający, którzy ofiarowują śpiewakom dar, prowadząc w nim promienie Światła i odziani w moc rumaka, o Agni, prowadź naprzód zarówno ich, jak i nas ku lepszemu dobru. Obyśmy mówili o Ogromie w zgromadzeniach ofiary, obdarzeni bohaterskimi mocami wewnętrznymi.
