FAQs

It reflects Purāṇic calendrical piety by linking a specific lunar date (śukla-dvādaśī) with a prescribed act of worship, illustrating how medieval Sanskrit traditions systematized observances through month-and-tithi instructions.

No explicit geographic location is named in this verse; it is primarily calendrical and ritual in focus (month and lunar day rather than place).

The verse emphasizes intentionality and disciplined practice: worship is to be undertaken with saṅkalpa (a deliberate vow/resolve), framing devotion as a mindful, ordered observance rather than a casual act.
