Sukta 9.113
पर्जन्यवृद्धं महिषं तं सूर्यस्य दुहिताभरत् । तं गन्धर्वाः प्रत्यगृभ्णन्तं सोमे रसमादधुरिन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥
parjányavṛddhaṃ mahiṣáṃ táṃ sū́ryasya duhitā́bharat | táṃ gandharvā́ḥ práty agṛbhṇan táṃ sóme rásam ā́dadhuḥ indrāyéndo pári srava ||
പർജന്യൻ പോഷിപ്പിച്ച മഹാവൃഷഭനെ—സൂര്യന്റെ പുത്രി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. ഗന്ധർവർ അവനെ പ്രതിയായി സ്വീകരിച്ചു; സോമത്തിൽ അവർ രസം—ആനന്ദത്തിന്റെ സാരം—സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. ഹേ ഇന്ദു, ഇന്ദ്രനുവേണ്ടി ചുറ്റി ഒഴുകി, മുന്നോട്ടു ഒഴുകുക.
