आ पवस्व दिशां पत आर्जीकात्सोम मीढ्वः । ऋतवाकेन सत्येन श्रद्धया तपसा सुत इन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥
Transliteration
ā́ pavasva diśā́ṃ pate ārjīkā́t sóma mīḍhvaḥ | ṛtá-vākena satyéna śraddháyā tápasā sutá indrāyéndo pári srava ||
Translation
ഹേ ദിശകളുടെ അധിപനേ, ഹേ സോമ, ഹേ ശക്തിദായകാ, ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഒഴുകിവരിക! ഋതത്തിന്റെ വചനത്താൽ, സത്യത്താൽ, ശ്രദ്ധയാൽ, തപസ്സാൽ പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്ത (സുതനായ) — ഹേ ഇന്ദു, ഇന്ദ്രനുവേണ്ടി ചുറ്റി ഒഴുകി, മുന്നോട്ടു ഒഴുകുക.
