त्राय॑न्तामि॒मं दे॒वास्त्राय॑न्तां म॒रुतां॑ ग॒णाः । त्राय॑न्तां॒ विश्वा॑ भू॒तानि॒ यथा॒यम॑र॒पा अस॑त्

IAST Transliteration

trā́yantām imáṃ devā́s trā́yantāṃ marútāṃ gaṇā́ḥ | trā́yantāṃ víśvā bhūtā́ni yáthā́yam arapā́ ásat

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let the Gods protect this man; let the hosts of the Maruts protect (him). Let all beings protect (him), that this one may be without harm.

Translation

ദേവന്മാർ ഈ മനുഷ്യനെ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ; മരുതുകളുടെ ഗണങ്ങൾ (അവനെ) രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ. സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളും/ജീവികളും (അവനെ) രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ; ഇതുവഴി ഈയാൾ ഹാനിയില്ലാത്തവൻ (അരപാ) ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ.
