यन्मन्यसे वरेण्यमिन्द्र द्युक्षं तदा भर । विद्याम तस्य ते वयमकूपारस्य दावने ॥
Transliteration
yán manyase váreṇyam índra dyukṣáṃ tád ā́ bhar | vidyā́ma tásya te vayám akū́pārasya dā́vane ||
Translation
ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ನೀನು ವರೆಣ್ಯಮ್ (ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ, ಆರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ) ಮತ್ತು ದ್ಯುಕ್ಷಂ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ) ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದನ್ನೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದುಕೊಡು; ಅಕೂಪಾರ (ಅಪಾರ)ವಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾವನೆ—ಅಕ್ಷಯ ದಾನವನ್ನು—ನಾವು ತಿಳಿದು ಅದರ ಪಾಲು ಪಡೆಯೋಣ.
