यन्मन्यसे वरेण्यमिन्द्र द्युक्षं तदा भर । विद्याम तस्य ते वयमकूपारस्य दावने ॥
Transliteration
yán manyase váreṇyam índra dyukṣáṃ tád ā́ bhar | vidyā́ma tásya te vayám akū́pārasya dā́vane ||
Translation
ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਵਰੇਣ੍ਯਮ੍ (ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ) ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਯੁਕ੍ਸ਼ੰ (ਚਮਕਦਾਰ) ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆ; ਅਕੂਪਾਰ (ਅਪਾਰ) ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਵਨੇ—ਅਖੁੱਟ ਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ—ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪਾਈਏ।
