स पुनानो मदिन्तमः सोमश्चमूषु सीदति । पशौ न रेत आदधत्पतिर्वचस्यते धियः ॥

sá punānó madíntamaḥ sómaś camū́ṣu sīdati | paśáu na réta ā́-dadhat pátir vacasyate dhíyaḥ ||

清められ、歓喜において最も酔わせるそのソーマは、鉢(器)に鎮まる。生きものに種が置かれるように、内に据えられ—言葉の主として、思惟を実らせ、発語へと導く。
