नू नस्त्वं रथिरो देव सोम परि स्रव चम्वोः पूयमानः । अप्सु स्वादिष्ठो मधुमाँ ऋतावा देवो न यः सविता सत्यमन्मा ॥
Transliteration
nū́ nás tvaṃ rathiró deva soma pári srava camvóḥ pūyámānaḥ | apsú svādiṣṭhó mádhumāṃ ṛtā́vā devó ná yáḥ savitā́ satyá-manmā ||
Translation
いま、われらのために、神なるソーマ（Soma）よ、戦車を駆る者よ、鉢のまわりを巡りつつ流れ入り、みずからを清めよ。水のうちにて汝は最も甘く、蜜の歓喜に満ち、ṛta（宇宙の正しき秩序）を知る者。真実の意志をもつ神サヴィトリ（Savitṛ）のごとく、汝はわれらのうちに真実の思い（真理の心）を目覚めさせる。
