प्र गायताभ्यर्चाम देवान्त्सोमं हिनोत महते धनाय । स्वादुः पवाते अति वारमव्यमा सीदाति कलशं देवयुर्नः ॥
Transliteration
prá gāyatā́bhy àrcāma devā́nt sómaṃ hinota mahaté dhánāya | svādúḥ pavāte áti vā́ram ávyam ā́ sīdāti kalaśáṃ deva-yúr naḥ ||
Translation
歌い出でよ。われらは讃歌をもって神々を讃え、ソーマ（Soma）を駆り立てて大いなる豊穣の富へと向かわせよ。甘美なるものは羊毛の濾し器を越えて流れ、壺（カラシャ／kalasha）に憩い住む—われらの神を求め、神を愛する者として。
