अरश्मानो येऽरथा अयुक्ता अत्यासो न ससृजानास आजौ । एते शुक्रासो धन्वन्ति सोमा देवासस्ताँ उप याता पिबध्यै ॥
Transliteration
araśmā́nā ye ’rathā́ ayúktā atyā́so na sasṛjānā́sa ājāú | eté śukrā́so dhanvanti somā́ devā́sas tā́n úpa yāta píbadhyai ||
Translation
これら（ソーマ）は手綱なき戦車のごとく、競技の場にて駿馬が繋がれ、また放たれるように（奔り出る）。光り澄めるソーマは前へと疾走する。神々よ、これらのもとに近づき、飲むために飲め。勝利の進行にあるこの澄明の力を、身に受けよ。
