इष्यन्वाचमुपवक्तेव होतुः पुनान इन्दो वि ष्या मनीषाम् । इन्द्रश्च यत्क्षयथः सौभगाय सुवीर्यस्य पतयः स्याम ॥
Transliteration
íṣyan vā́cam upavaktéva hótuḥ punāná índo ví ṣyā manīṣā́m | índraś ca yát kṣáyathaḥ saúbhagāya su-vī́ryasya pátayaḥ syāma ||
Translation
聖なる言葉を希い、ホートリ（Hotṛ）の助誦者のごとく。浄められゆくインドゥ（Indu、ソーマ）よ、霊感の思惟（manīṣā）をひろく展べよ。汝とインドラ（Indra）が我らの幸いのために住まうゆえ、まことに強き英雄の力（suvīrya）の主となれかし。
