हरिः सृजानः पथ्यामृतस्येयर्ति वाचमरितेव नावम् । देवो देवानां गुह्यानि नामाविष्कृणोति बर्हिषि प्रवाचे ॥

hárīḥ sṛjānás pathyā́m ṛtásyéyarti vā́cam aritā́iva nā́vam | devó devā́nāṃ guhyā́ni nā́mā́viṣkṛṇoti bárhiṣi prá-vāce ||

褐金の者は放たれて、ṛta(宇宙の正理・秩序)の道を動かし進める。彼はヴァーチ(Vāc、言葉)を、舟を漕ぐ者が舟を駆るように駆り立てる。神はバルヒス(barhis、祭草の座)において、諸神の秘められた名を顕し、前へと放たれる宣言の言葉となさる。
