परि सद्मेव पशुमान्ति होता राजा न सत्यः समितीरियानः । सोमः पुनानः कलशाँ अयासीत्सीदन्मृगो न महिषो वनेषु ॥
Transliteration
pári sádmeva paśu-mā́nti hótā rājā́ na satyáḥ sám-itīr iyānáḥ | sómaḥ punānáḥ kalaśā́m̐ ayāsīt sī́dan mṛgó na mahíṣo váneṣu ||
Translation
彼はめぐり行く、富める群れの中のホートリ（Hotṛ）のごとく。王のごとく真実にして、諸集会へと進みゆく。浄められゆくソーマ（Soma）は濾し壺へと来たり、そこに鎮まる――森の獣のように、林に住む大いなる水牛のように。自らの力に安住し、威を備えて。
