राज्ञो नु ते वरुणस्य व्रतानि बृहद्गभीरं तव सोम धाम । शुचिष्ट्वमसि प्रियो न मित्रो दक्षाय्यो अर्यमेवासि सोम ॥
Transliteration
rājño nú te váruṇasya vratā́ni bṛhád gabhīráṃ táva soma dhā́ma | śucís tvám asi priyó na mitró dakṣā́yyo aryámā-iva asi soma ||
Translation
いま、王ヴァルナ（Varuṇa）の真理の誓戒は汝のもの。広大にして深遠なるは汝の住処、ソーマよ。汝は最も清らかにして、ミトラ（Mitra）のごとく愛しき者。識別の働きにふさわしく、アリヤマン（Aryaman）のごとき者なり、ソーマよ。
