ā́ yó góbhīḥ sṛ́jyata óṣadhīṣv ā́ devā́nāṃ sumná iṣáyann upā́vasuḥ | ā́ vidyútā pavate dhā́rayā sutá índraṃ sómo mā́dayan daívyam jánam ||
Translation
光線（ゴー）とともに放たれ、薬草の生長の力の中へと注がれる者よ。神々の恵みを、近く内なる富として推し進める者よ。搾られたソーマは、稲妻の速さで流れの筋をもって浄め流れ、インドラを歓喜の酔いへと導き、われらの内なる神なる民をも高める。
