यथा पूर्वेभ्यः शतसा अमृध्रः सहस्रसाः पर्यया वाजमिन्दो । एवा पवस्व सुविताय नव्यसे तव व्रतमन्वापः सचन्ते ॥
Transliteration
yáthā pū́rvebhyaḥ śatásā́ amṛ́dhraḥ sahasrasā́ḥ pár yayā vā́jam indo | evā́ pavasva suvitā́ya návyase táva vratám anv ā́paḥ sacante ||
Translation
昔のごとく、インドゥ（Indu、ソーマ）よ、汝は百倍・千倍のヴァージャ（vāja、勝利の力）を、過ちなく巡り得た。いまもまた自らを清めよ、新たにしてより広いスヴィタ（suvitā、善き成就・福祉）のために。アーパス（Āpas、水々）は汝のヴラタ（vrata、誓法）に従い、汝の道に同意して、定められた運行を支える。
