प्र देवमच्छा मधुमन्त इन्दवोऽसिष्यदन्त गाव आ न धेनवः । बर्हिषदो वचनावन्त ऊधभिः परिस्रुतमुस्रिया निर्णिजं धिरे ॥
Transliteration
prá devám ácchā mádhumanta índavo ’síṣyadanta gā́va ā́ ná dhenávaḥ | barhiṣádo vacanā́vanta ū́dhabhiḥ parisrútam usríyā nírṇijaṃ dhire ||
Translation
神なるものへと、蜜を湛えたソーマ（Soma）の滴は奔り出る。牛の群れのように、乳牛が家へ急ぐように。バルヒス（barhis）の座に坐し、言葉に富む諸力は、その乳房によって、照らす光線（usriyā）の流れゆく輝き――清浄の明るき衣――を据え置いた。
