अग्ने कविर्वेधा असि होता पावक यक्ष्यः । मन्द्रो यजिष्ठो अध्वरेष्वीड्यो विप्रेभिः शुक्र मन्मभिः ॥
Transliteration
ágné kavír vedhā́ ási hótā pā́vaka yákṣyaḥ | mandró yájiṣṭho adhvaréṣv ī́ḍyo víprebhiḥ śúkra mánmabhiḥ ||
Translation
アグニよ、汝は詩聖（kavi）にして知者（vedhā）、招請の祭官（hotṛ）、浄める者（pāvaka）、まさに祭を行うべき者。歓喜に満ち、祭儀において最も善く為す者（yajiṣṭha）、供犠において讃えらるべき者（īḍya）。霊感ある者（vipra）らの清らかな思念（manman）によって、汝は輝く。
