Rig Veda 8.6.7: Mandala 8, Sukta 6, Mantra 7

Sukta 8.6

Rishi: Kaṇva (Kaṇva lineage; hymn attributed to the Kaṇvas)
Devata: Agni (inner flame of illumination) with an Indra-centric movement in the surrounding verses of the hymn
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable for RV 8.6; verse-length and cadence fit Triṣṭubh)

imā́ abhi prá nón̄umo vipā́m ágreṣu dhītáyaḥ | agnéḥ śocír ná didyútaḥ ||
