अग्निं दूतं पुरो दधे हव्यवाहमुप ब्रुवे । देवाँ आ सादयादिह ॥
Transliteration
agníṁ dūtáṁ puró dadhe havyavā́ham úpa bruve | devā́n ā́ sādayād ihá ||
Translation
我はアグニ（Agni）を先頭に据え、使者として、供物を運ぶ者（havyavāha）として呼びかける。われは近くより彼に語る。願わくは彼がここに諸神（devāḥ）を座らせたまえ。
