यथा वशन्ति देवास्तथेदसत्तदेषां नकिरा मिनत् । अरावा चन मर्त्यः ॥
Transliteration
yáthā váśanti devā́s táthéd ásat tádeṣā́m nákir ā́ minat | arā́vā caná mártyaḥ ||
Translation
神々が欲し、治めるがままに、まさにそのとおりに事は成る。だれも彼らの定め（法度）を損なえない——いかなる死すべき者も、たとえ富める者であっても。
