इयं वां ब्रह्मणस्पते सुवृक्तिर्ब्रह्मेन्द्राय वज्रिणे अकारि । अविष्टं धियो जिगृतं पुरंधीर्जजस्तमर्यो वनुषामरातीः ॥
Transliteration
iyáṃ vāṃ brahmaṇaspate suvṛktír brahméndrāya vájriṇe akāri | aviṣṭáṃ dhíyo jigṛtáṃ purandhī́r jajástam aryó vanúṣām arā́tīḥ ||
Translation
言（ことば）の主ブラフマナスパティよ、この巧みに織られた讃歌は汝のために作られた—雷槌を執るインドラのためのブラフマン（brahman）として。思いは守られ、引き上げられよ；理解の充溢が、心狭き者の敵意の群れを追い払え。
