यज्ञे दिवो नृषदने पृथिव्या नरो यत्र देवयवो मदन्ति । इन्द्राय यत्र सवनानि सुन्वे गमन्मदाय प्रथमं वयश्च ॥
Transliteration
yajñé divó nṛṣádane pṛthivyā́ naro yátra devayávo mádanti | índrāya yátra sávanāni sunvé gámán mádāya prathamáṃ váyaś ca ||
Translation
祭儀において、天と地との人の座にて――そこにて神を求むる男たちは歓喜し、そこにてインドラ（Indra）のためにソーマ（Soma）の搾りが整えられる。彼が歓喜のために来たり、われらの存在の初めの広がりをもたらさんことを。
