अधा न्वस्य संदृशं जगन्वानग्नेरनीकं वरुणस्य मंसि । स्वर्यदश्मन्नधिपा उ अन्धोऽभि मा वपुर्दृशये निनीयात् ॥
Transliteration
adhā́ nv asya saṃdṛ́śaṃ jaganvān agnér anī́kaṃ váruṇasya maṃsi | svàr yád áśmann adhipā́ u ándho ’bhí mā vápur dṛśáye ninīyāt ||
Translation
そこでわたしは彼の顕現を見ようと赴いた――ヴァルナ（Varuṇa）の思惟のうちにあるアグニ（Agni）の御顔を。太陽が石の上に据えられるとき、盲の闇よ、わが姿を見ゆることから引き離すな；わが存在はつねに光へと向けられてあれ。
