नरा गौरेव विद्युतं तृषाणास्माकमद्य सवनोप यातम् । पुरुत्रा हि वां मतिभिर्हवन्ते मा वामन्ये नि यमन्देवयन्तः ॥
Transliteration
nárā gauréva vidyútaṃ tṛṣāṇā́smā́kam adyá savanópa yātam | purutrā́ hí vām matíbhiḥ hávante mā́ vām anyé ní yamann deva-yántaḥ ||
Translation
勇士たちよ、牡牛の稲妻のごとく、渇き求めつつ、今日われらの搾り（ソーマの圧搾）へ来たれ。汝らは多くの者に思い（マティ）をもって呼ばれている。ほかの神を求むる者どもが、汝らをわれらから引き留めぬように。
