ā́ vām rátho ródasī badbadhānó hiraṇyáyo vṛ́ṣabhir yātú aśváīḥ | ghṛtávartaniḥ pavíbhiḥ rucānó iṣā́ṃ voḷhā́ nṛpátir vājinī́vān ||

汝らの車よ来たれ――天と地とを結び合わせつつ――黄金に輝き、強き牡馬に牽かれて。澄明なる光(ギー)の道を走り、力(パヴィ)もて照り映えつつ、衝力イシャー(iṣā)を運ぶ者、人の旅路の主、豊かな充溢を具える者。
