आ देवो यातु सविता सुरत्नोऽन्तरिक्षप्रा वहमानो अश्वैः । हस्ते दधानो नर्या पुरूणि निवेशयञ्च प्रसुवञ्च भूम ॥
Transliteration
ā devó yātu savitā́ su-rátnō ’ntárikṣa-prā́ váhamāno áśvaiḥ | háste dádhāno náryā purū́ṇi niveśáyañ ca prásuvañ ca bhū́ma ||
Translation
願わくはサヴィトリ（Savitṛ）、真の宝に富む神なる促し手が、駿馬に乗り中空を渡りてわれらに来たらんことを。人の魂のための多くの賜物を手に携え、願わくはわれらを正しき住まいに据え、われらの業を正しき発遣へと駆り立てよ。
