युजे रथं गवेषणं हरिभ्यामुप ब्रह्माणि जुजुषाणमस्थुः । वि बाधिष्ट स्य रोदसी महित्वेन्द्रो वृत्राण्यप्रती जघन्वान् ॥
Transliteration
yujé ráthaṃ gavéṣaṇaṃ háribhyām úpa bráhmāṇi jujuṣāṇám asthuḥ | ví bādhiṣṭa syá rodasī mahitvéndrò vṛtrā́ṇy apratí jaghánvān ||
Translation
軛を結ぶとき、光輝（Rays）を求める戦車は、二頭の黄褐の駿馬（hari）によって整えられる。諸ブラフマン（brahmāṇi、聖なる讃歌）は近くに立ち、彼を歓び迎える。その偉大さによって、彼は二つの世界（rodasī、天と地）を押し広げて隔てた。インドラは比類なきままに諸ヴリトラ（vṛtra、障碍）を討ち、道を解き放った。
