विप्रा यज्ञेषु मानुषेषु कारू मन्ये वां जातवेदसा यजध्यै । ऊर्ध्वं नो अध्वरं कृतं हवेषु ता देवेषु वनथो वार्याणि ॥
Transliteration
víprā yajñéṣu mā́nuṣeṣu kārú manye vāṃ jā́ta-vedasā yajádhyai | ū́rdhvaṃ no adhvaráṃ kṛtáṃ háveṣu tā́ devéṣu vanatho vā́ryāṇi ||
Translation
われらは人の祭祀における聖賢である。歌い手として思う、ジャータヴェーダスよ、汝らは礼拝されるべきであると。呼びかけの中で、われらの祭行はまっすぐに立てられた。これによって汝らは神々の中にて、望ましき富を勝ち取る。
