स्वाध्यो वि दुरो देवयन्तोऽशिश्रयू रथयुर्देवताता । पूर्वी शिशुं न मातरा रिहाणे समग्रुवो न समनेष्वञ्जन् ॥
Transliteration
svā́dhyo ví dúro deva-yánto ’śiśrayu ratha-yúr deva-tātā | pū́rvī́ śíśuṃ ná mā́tarā rihāṇé sám agrúvo ná sámanéṣv añjan ||
Translation
自らを制し神を求める者たちは、戸を大きく開く。彼らは立ち、神の来臨を切に待ち望む。古き諸力は、二人の母が生まれた子を舐め育てるように彼を養い、また集会の歌い手のごとく、彼に塗油して調和のうちに据える。
