इन्द्रासोमा तपतं रक्ष उब्जतं न्यर्पयतं वृषणा तमोवृधः । परा शृणीतमचितो न्योषतं हतं नुदेथां नि शिशीतमत्रिणः ॥
Transliteration
indrā́somā tápataṃ rákṣa ubjátam ní arpayataṃ vṛṣaṇā tamo-vṛ́dhaḥ | párā śṛṇītam acíto ní oṣataṃ hatáṃ nudéthāṃ ní śiśītam atríṇaḥ ||
Translation
インドラよ、ソーマよ、燃え立て。敵対する闇の力を打ち砕き、夜によって増長する者どもを押し伏せよ。彼らを遠くへと粉砕し、目覚めた見（citi）なき者を焼き尽くせ。貪り食う者を打ち、追い払え——内なる破壊者に向けて汝らの力を研ぎ澄ませ。
