स इत्तन्तुं स वि जानात्योतुं स वक्त्वान्यृतुथा वदाति । य ईं चिकेतदमृतस्य गोपा अवश्चरन्परो अन्येन पश्यन् ॥
Transliteration
sá ít tántuṃ sá ví jānā́ty ótuṃ sá vaktvā́ny ṛtuthā́ vadāti | yá īṃ cíketa(d) amṛ́tasya gopā́ ávaś cáran paró anyéna páśyan ||
Translation
かれこそその糸を知り、かれこそ織りを見分け、かれこそ時にかなって、法のごとく言葉を語る――それを覚醒した者、不死の守護者。下を巡りつつも、別なる（より高き）眼によって遠きを見る。
