घृतेन द्यावापृथिवी अभीवृते घृतश्रिया घृतपृचा घृतावृधा । उर्वी पृथ्वी होतृवूर्ये पुरोहिते ते इद्विप्रा ईळते सुम्नमिष्टये ॥
Transliteration
ghṛténa dyā́vāpṛthivī́ abhī́vr̥te ghṛtaśríyā ghṛtapŕ̥cā ghṛtāvŕ̥dhā | urvī́ pr̥thvī́ hotṛvū́rye puróhite té íd víprā īḷate sumnám iṣṭáye ||
Translation
ギー（ghṛta）によって天と地は包まれ、ギーの栄光に輝き、ギーに満ち、ギーによって増し広がる。広き大地は、供犠における祭官の力として前に据えられ、賢者たちはそれを呼び招く——祭りを成就させる恩寵（sumna）を求めて。
