वृषा ह्यग्ने अजरो महान्विभास्यर्चिषा । अजस्रेण शोचिषा शोशुचच्छुचे सुदीतिभिः सु दीदिहि ॥
Transliteration
vṛ́ṣā hí agne ajáro mahā́n vibhā́sy arciṣā́ | ájasreṇa śocíṣā śóśucac chuce sudītíbhīḥ sú dīdihi ||
Translation
まことに、アグニよ、汝は雄々しき大牡牛、老いざる偉大なる者。汝はその焔の光（アルチス）もて輝き現る。尽きぬ炎熱（ショーチス）もて、清き者よ、いよいよ燃え立ち、善き点火の光もて、われらのうちに善く燃えよ。
