ते रुद्रासः सुमखा अग्नयो यथा तुविद्युम्ना अवन्त्वेवयामरुत् । दीर्घं पृथु पप्रथे सद्म पार्थिवं येषामज्मेष्वा महः शर्धांस्यद्भुतैनसाम् ॥
Transliteration
te rudrā́saḥ su-mákhā agnáyo yáthā tuvi-dyumnā́ avantv evayā́marut | dī́rghaṃ pṛthú paprathé sádma pārthívam yeṣā́m ájmeṣv ā́ maháḥ śárdhāṃsy ádbhuta-enasām ||
Translation
善き祭儀をもつそのルドラ（Rudra）たちが、豊かな光輝の火のごとく、われらを護らんことを、ああマルト（Marut）よ。彼らがひろげる地上の住処は、長く広い。彼らの進軍のただ中を、驚異の力を具え、咎め得ぬ大いなる群勢が進む。
