ऋतं चिकित्व ऋतमिच्चिकिद्ध्यृतस्य धारा अनु तृन्धि पूर्वीः । नाहं यातुं सहसा न द्वयेन ऋतं सपाम्यरुषस्य वृष्णः ॥
Transliteration
ṛtáṃ cikitva ṛtám íc cíkiddhy ṛtásya dhārā́ ánu tṛndhi pūrvī́ḥ | nā́haṃ yātúṃ sáhasā ná dváyena ṛtáṃ sapāmy aruṣásya vṛ́ṣṇaḥ ||
Translation
知る者よ、ṛta（宇宙の正理）を知れ、まことにṛtaを知れ。ṛtaの多くの古き流れに沿って、道を切り開いて進め。われは力ずくではそこに至らず、二つに分かれた手段でも至らぬ。赤き牡牛――アグニ（Agni）の熾烈なる威力――のṛtaに従い、それを勝ち得る。
