Sukta 4.27
अध श्वेतं कलशं गोभिरक्तमापिप्यानं मघवा शुक्रमन्धः । अध्वर्युभिः प्रयतं मध्वो अग्रमिन्द्रो मदाय प्रति धत्पिबध्यै शूरो मदाय प्रति धत्पिबध्यै ॥
ádha śvetáṃ kaláśaṃ góbhir aktám āpipyānáṃ maghávā śukrám ándhaḥ | adhvaryúbhiḥ práyataṃ mádhvo ágram índro mádāya práti dhat píbadhyai śūró mádāya práti dhat píbadhyai ||
そのとき、施与に富むインドラは、白き器を飲むために前に据えた――光の筋に塗られ、輝けるソーマの精髄に満ちふくらむものを。アドヴァリュたちにより整えられた甘露の第一の頂を、インドラは、勇士として、歓喜のために前に置いた――飲み、力を増すために。
